The Energy Assistance for Savings & Efficiency (EASE) program helps eligible Georgia Power customers make their homes more energy efficient and more comfortable year-round. Through a free in-home assessment, a program contractor identifies energy-saving improvements and completes the upgrades at no cost to you.
For a lot of Fayetteville homeowners, the fastest path to a lower power bill isn't a new system — it's sealing the leaks the system is fighting against. Duct leakage, thin attic insulation and gaps around the building envelope can quietly waste a large share of the conditioned air you're paying for. EASE is built to address exactly those problems.
Energy Efficiency Home Improvements
Depending on your home assessment, you could qualify for the following energy-saving improvements and more:
- Install a smart, Wi-Fi thermostat
- Improve attic insulation
- Air seal gaps, cracks & leaks
- Seal heating & air delivery ducts
- HVAC clean & tunes
- Air purifiers & power strips
How The Program Works
1. Apply. Start your application at georgiapower.com/ease. Georgia Power reviews your application and confirms whether you're eligible.
2. Get your free assessment. A program contractor walks the home and identifies where energy is being lost — ductwork, insulation, air sealing, HVAC performance.
3. Have the work completed. The qualifying improvements are installed at no cost to you, up to the program limit.
Who Qualifies?
EASE supports low-to-moderate income Georgia Power customers across the state. Eligibility is determined by Georgia Power, not by your contractor — so the first step is always the application. If you're not sure whether you qualify, applying costs nothing and takes only a few minutes.
Age 60 or older? Georgia Power runs a separate program for income-qualified seniors. See our Georgia Power EASE for Seniors page.
